Face To Face For The first Time

The mask restrictions were lifted for some industries here and people have been meeting face to face for the first time. You never realize how important it is to see someone’s facial expressions until it is suddenly returned to you.

Over the last two years, I have been working with some clients whose faces I had never seen before.

  The ones that said they were disappointed I did not remember them, I  had to remind that we have only interacted during lockdown breaks.  Masks were mandatory, I knew the name but the face, nope. 

It is rather nice to put a face to the voices though.  I could pass them on the street and not know them!  For most of them my visual image was shattered.  It turns out that masks do exactly that, hide crucial facial features.  I am happy we can finally meet face to face for the first time, after a long time.
