Getting Ready To Do Your Taxes

Anyone will tell you getting ready to do your taxes is one of the most time-

consuming aspects of doing business.  This is the one time of the year I wish I had one form to fill.  However, as a business owner, even if you have an accountant, you still have to understand this side of business.

Do you know, I organized all the information that is necessary when you are getting ready to do your  

taxes but, a week prior to filing, I moved some things around.  When you move things around, I find it makes good sense to note where you put them so you are not left scrambling.  Sadly, I did not do this.  It was not possible to have an appointment at the time I wished so I had to take an earlier one.  Boy, did that not work out so well.  At midnight the night before the appointment,, I was still hunting down some receipts I put away too carefully!

Usually, I can be leading authority on a lot of things but on getting ready to do your taxes I say learn as much as you can for your situation.  The yearly changes require serious dedication and I am not fond of those numerous little boxes on the forms.  Of course, there are numerous accounting software to make your life easier.  Or you can be like me and let the professionals handle it.
