If you were like me in 2020, you laughed and secretly crossed your fingers (& toes) when people

spoke of more lockdowns.  We are in one right now.  Authorities were slick and gave a 2-day notice. Many people were unable to do any hair care. Which begs the question:  is stress a cause of hair loss?

.

According to medical experts, stress or anxiety can come from various

situations such as:

  • Temporary illness
  • Pregnancy
  • Health condition, e.g. thyroid issues
  • Medical treatment e.g. chemotherapy
  • Emotional imbalance or anxiety

These experts also said there can be a 3-month delay between the stressful time and your hair falling out.  This is the beginning of our fourth 3-month period.  For those who are worried about staying afloat right now, get your tush in gear.   Your hair is at risk.  This loss is temporary if you do the following:

  • Sleep
  • Drink water
  • Eat healthy
  • Exercise regularly, evan walking
  • Do yoga, meditate
  • Talk with positive people
  • Get out of the stressful event as quickly as possible

.

On lockdown.  We should be out by the end of January.
